Perplexity Cover Reveal

A big milestone has been reached.

At long last, I have something close enough to be called a first draft for my psychological cosmic horror isekai, Perplexity! To commemorate, I'm sharing the official paperback cover. It isn't finalized and is subject to change, such as adjusting the spine width when the page count is locked in, but this is pretty much it.

I'm sorry for the scant updates with this book. Keeping it under wraps has been intentional, so I've been comparably quieter about it. When I first unveiled it waaay back in 2021, I referred to it as a "secret book." And that is what it remained, in more ways than one. Not good for marketing and business, but I don't care; this is going to be about the artform over the metrics. Also, progress has been slow, so any updates that I did want to share were spaced out more than intended.

So, when will it be done?

I'll have a booth at Fandom Fest of Southwest Michigan on June 13. That is my deadline for Perplexity to be available. There's still a little writing left, a lot of editing/revisions, and the interior graphics need to be finished. This will be a crunch, but I think it's possible, so all I can do is lock in and give it my best. That's why I'm keeping this post short -- I have a book to write!
